Leadership Structure

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board consists of a group of leaders, primarily from outside the local churches that provide a different set of eyes and perspectives to help establish an effective movement of reproducing house churches and multiplying networks. They meet a couple times a year to evaluate, vision, and strategize ways of generating an effective CPM (church planting movement) in the United States.

Advisory Board Members

DAVID A. SEEBA is a Certified Public Accountant.. He currently serves on the board of some Silicon Valley foundations as well as chairing the Sentinel Group which is a Christian research and information agency dedicated to helping the Church pray knowledgably for end-time global evangelization and enabling communities to discover the pathway to genuine revival and societal transformation.
HARRY BROWN is the VP of CityTeam International. CityTeam International exists to catalyze church-planting movements among the least-reached people of the world by training indigenous leaders to bring the lost to salvation, believers to maturity, new churches into being, and positive change to the community.
GREG PARSONS serves as the Executive Director of the US Center for World Missions in Pasadena, where he has been on staff for 22 years. Greg serves the USCWM through networking national and mission agencies to advance God's Kingdom to every people group on earth. He also serves on the boards of the IFMA, EFMA, the Adopt-A-People Clearinghouse and a sending agency.
DAVID AND LAURA GSCHWEND are founders of The Gathering By the Bay. (Dave currently serves as a pastor and President of the ministry.)

Leadership Council

Each network of House Gatherings operates as an independent church and is overseen by its own Leadership Council. The different Networks are connected by relationship and a mutual vision. The Leadership Council members are drawn from men and women of the House Churches, the Pastor and the Prayer Coordinator. They serve to oversee, envision, and pray for the work of the ministry being done in and through the network.

Leadership Team

The Leadership Team is comprised of all the leaders of the House Gatherings, the Intercessory prayer team, and the Network Pastor. They gather monthly for communication, decision-making, prayer, and training. Different members of the Leadership Team will rotate into the Leadership Council on an annual basis. The Leadership, along with the Leadership Council, helps establish the vision and direction for the Network and seeks ways of launching new Networks in other demographic, ethnic and geographic regions.
