The Triune Godhead
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, Who is personal, almighty and perfect. He exists eternally in three Persons - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - Who are identical in nature, equal in power and glory and have the same attributes and perfections (Genesis 1-2; Deuteronomy 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19, 20).

God the Father: God, as Father, reigns over all creation with loving care. He is ever-present, all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-wise. He provides for our needs, protects us in trouble, and desires that all people would become His children through faith in His only-begotten Son, Jesus (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 6:9-13 & 32-33; Acts 1:7; Romans 8:14-15; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Corinthians 15:24; Ephesians 4:6).

God the Son: We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal the character and person of God and redeem sinful man. He freed us by voluntarily giving Himself as a sinless sacrifice and dying on the cross. He took our full punishment thereby satisfying God's righteous judgment against sin. He rose bodily from the grave on the third day. He revealed himself to many witnesses, up to 500 on one occasion. He ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father. He intercedes on behalf of those who trust Him and He will return at the end of the age to bring judgment, deliverance, and establish the fullness of His kingdom (Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-2,14,18; Hebrews 1:3; Romans 3:24-26; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Revelation 19:11-20:15).
God the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Church at Pentecost, baptizing believers into the Body of Christ and releasing the gifts of the Spirit to them. The Spirit indwells all believers and works to transform us into the likeness of Jesus. He directs us to worship in spirit and in truth, and releases us into ministry where the body of Christ is built up. He is our abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the filling and the empowering of the Holy Spirit for ministry today and in the exercise of all of the gifts of the Spirit (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4 & 15-17; 1 Corinthians 12-14; John 14:16-17 & 26; Romans 12:1-6; Ephesians 4:11-13; 5:18-20; Romans 8:3-10 & 13-16; Luke 11:20; Ephesians 6:10-20; John 14:12-13; Romans 15:18-19; John 16:7;13-15; Luke 24:49; Acts 4:31; Acts 8:18-19; Acts 9:1-2; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; 2 Corinthians 6:4-7; 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21; Acts 8:14-17; Acts 19:6; Mark 16:18; Acts 13:1-3; John 4:23-24).
